Hi!
I really want to work as a make up artist. I have worked as a model for 3 years and often get to have a go and help the make up artists out! I have studied art and worked in a cosmetic store.
(not to blow my own trumpet) but i am really good with make up, its also my passion so it makes sense that i should get a job as a make up artist!
Are there any make up artists out there that would be happy to have someone work with them? Or anyone with any tips.
I would train, although i don't really agree that this is what you need to do to become a make up artist.
I am interested in doing wedding/occasion makeup and photography make up.
any helpful tips would be great

Rare Vintage What would make people's online wine-buying experience better?
I took a break from my other projects to help my dad bring his wine business to online markets, and I want to ask your input.
There is a whole lot of "high-tech" and very little "high-touch" currently going on in the wine market today. And for the few exceptions, the reverse is true.
That is, it seems like wine merchants online either have complex websites that skimp on the human touch or antiquated, neglected websites that don't do a good job merchandising the product but when you call you get to talk to a human on the other end.
I'm trying to find out if it's a worthwhile endeavor to try to bridge that divide. I'd be interested in getting people's top 3-4 peeves regarding their online wine buying experiences.
We specialize in selling rare, vintage and top-rated wines. In other words, the top 1% of wines in the world, so our product is fairly high-ticket.

Down Voltage Converter Can I get my US appliance fixed after not using a step down converter?
In a country with 220V, failed to see it didn't have universal voltage, and blew the fuse on my US 110V appliance. Can I get it fixed, will it be expensive, or is it beyond hope? It's a sound therapy sleepmate thing.
When i said 'blow a fuse' i meant it figuratively. there was a flash and it stopped operating.
If it was the fuse, you can get it fixed relatively easily and cheaply.
However, it is likely that it was not the fuse - because the voltage is not stopped by the fuse, only the current.
hence, the chances are that your transformer inside the device is fried.
just have the fuse checked - you can do this yourself or get someone to do it. If the fuse looks unbroken and the glass is clear, then it is liekly the device is fried.
