Vintage Leather Suitcase
Question about purses, who knows a lot about them?
Does anyone know about vintage purses? Like if you have ever heard of these brands or know if they are worth anything? An elderly lady had these 2 purses and supposedly they have a lifetime warranty. The first purse is called Garfinckel's Washington and it says authentic by holzman a plain black leather purse and in the inside seems to be made of purple satin. The other purse looks older has more of a suitcase type feel. It's brown leather. I can't really read the writing of what kind of purse it says it is but here is what it looks like: Etesure A'gros, it's in cursive and and the bottom it says hand made. the clasp to the purse has real bolts that you put the flap over and the button goes through and twists to the side, kind of like an old time suitcase. Has anyone ever seen these brands of purses and know anything about them?

What else can I do with plastic shopping bags besides throwing them out?
We have recently switched to the fabric reusable bags. I was using the heaping amounts we have to empty out the kitty litter, but now we use flush-able litter. So I have no idea what to do with the cupboard full of plastic bags? I feel bad throwing them out so what else can you use them for?
In my area, we have 2 thrift stores and a food bank that love to get the bags. My grocery store also has a recycle center for them.Once you get in the habit of carrying the reusable bags you will love it! I can carry so much more in them than those flimsy plastic things !
