Using paint markers?
I jsut got into visual art like paint an all that... so i wanted to know what exactly are paint markers? Plus can you use them to create decals? (Like you go to a skate shop or somethin an they have all those stickers you can post up on your board or on different places.... except they look better than paint marker ones i bet...)
Paint markers are what they sound like, opaque pigment in a solvent. I personally have only used them on paper they were quick drying and I cannot recall if the paint when dry was flexible or not. For the application you are thinking, I am not sure that would be the best option. I say this mostly because if you are going to use vinyl as your sticker base the paint may peel off when you try to place it or if it encounters much friction. And a paper base for the sticker would not be very sturdy standing up to general use. If you choose to use them for a decal project I think your product would benefit from a clear coat sealer, or lamination.
