Do the foam brushes at a coin operated self serve car wash put scratches in the paint of a new car?

I've heard you should only use a soft sponge or cloth to wash your vehicle.

Your best bet is to go to a hand wash car wash. Brushes eat into the paint and may not be recognizable at first. But contiued use will ruin your paint job.

Rooftop Luggage Cargo

How do you attach a rooftop cargo carrier with 4 straps to a 02 Ford Escape luggage rack?

The straps are on the sides and the metal clips are shaped to fit between the door and the frame of a sedan but it's apparent that the luggage rack is the only way it could possibly work on the escape. I hooked it to the inside lip of the track on the Escape's rack, but I'm worried that lip isn't big enough. It's an older Sears rooftop carrier. Thanks!
The rack isn't in the way, I have to use it because the clips are "j" shaped and they won't fit the large lip of the rear door frames.

How much money do I need for a vacation in Texas?

I'm going to San Antonio. I'm in a hotel right next to the alamo and other tourist attractioons. How much will I need PER DAY not including food, hotel, flight, or transportation. Essentially, how much do I need for fun per day?

Excluding your hotel and travel costs, I'd estimate you'll want about $50-60 per diem. That'd include seeing a sight or two like the Alamo or the space needle, eating lunch on the riverwalk (about $10.00), a decent dinner (let's say $20.00), and shopping for trinkets. Depending on how hard you party at night, whether you eat breakfast at your hotel, and how much shopping you plan to do, your mileage may vary.

Headrest Neck Support

I have a 07 Mazda 6 but need adjustable headrest ?

My headrest only go up and down and not in/out to support my neck have ask dealer but they are unsure as what i am requesting its not difficult i need headrests to suport my neck so need them to adjust outwards as well My rods are 6.5 inches apart does anyone have any idea if any other make will fit my mazda please help

Just a thought, try someone who deals with adjustments for disabled drivers - not that you are, but they can often come up with wierd but effective alterations. It's not particularly their thing, but Motability might be able to help you with suitable names.

Las Vegas Hertz Rental Car?

I'm going to Las Vegas tommorrow, and am renting a full - size car at Hertz.
They told me to ride the shuttle at terminal 1 and 2 (either one, I'm guessing) that will transport me to the rental car center.
I want to have a quick - lunch at airport so that I don't have to spend much time waiting, but am worried I might miss the shuttle.
How do shuttles work? Do they leave w/o me if I don't show up? How long do they wait? How often do they come to the airport to pick me up?

No worry. Go ahead and have lunch if you wish. However, there are not a lot of good dining options at the airport. If I were you, I would wait until I got into town to eat.

The car rental shuttles don't wait for you. However, they run continuously during the day. If you miss one, just wait - the next will come by in a few minutes. All that you have to do is look for the signs that direct you to the shuttles, wait by the sign, and hop on.
